LumberJill in the City: Jillian Harris' Academy in the City Recap

Well that was phenomenal! What started as a BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) on our vision board ended up as our reality. It has taken us about a month to come down from the excitement, and here we are - mission accomplished; goal achieved.

The 'Big Hairy Audacious Goal':

December 2023: LumberJill will be accepted into Jillian Harris' Academy in the City Pop-Up Market in Toronto on April 25th, 2024.

We are here to tell you manifesting goals works. BUT... not without figurative (& in some cases literal) blood, sweat, cheers and a lot of freakin' work. We are forever grateful for our new friends Ang and Taryn of the Atelier Collective, The Jilly Academy and Jillian Harris who chose us from over 100 small Canadian business applications to be a part of their event.

The ripple effect of being at the Academy in the City event is vast. We were able to achieve many of the other goals that we set out to achieve in 2024. These goals include: travelling outside of Alberta for markets/pop-ups, growing our customer base in Eastern Canada, developing and expanding our influencer affiliate program, increasing our newsletter subscriber list and increasing our Q1 revenue from 2023.

Can we get a "hell ya!" for goal setting?
